Abstract | Shanghai Light Source (SSRF) is a third generation synchrotron radiation facility with the intermediate energy of 3.5 GeV. Two wigglers W80 and W140, one elliptically polarizing undulator EPU100 of the APPLE-II type with 4.3 meters long and two in-vacuum undulators IVU25-1,2 with 2 meters long have been built in the phase-I of SSRF project. This paper describes the design parameters, the magnet configurations and the magnetic field performances of these five IDs. The electron trajectories, the phase errors and the predicated on-axis spectral fluxes with the measured magnetic fields of two in-vacuum undulators are also presented. The R.M.S. phase errors of less than 4 are obtained for the EPU100 in the horizontal polarization mode as well as in the vertical polarization mode. The maximum R.M.S. phase errors for two in-vacuum undulators are 3.1 and 2.2° respectively and the ratio of the photon flux to the ideal case is larger than 80% on the 11th harmonic. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
