Abstract | Abstract — Energy consumption is one of the most important parameters for evaluation of a scheme proposed for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) because of their resource constraint nature. Comprehensive comparative analysis of proposed reputation-based trust management schemes of WSNs from this perspective is currently not available in the literature. In this paper, we have presented a theoretical and simulationbased energy consumption analysis and evaluation of three state-of-the-art reputation-based trust management schemes of WSNs. Results show that the GTMS scheme consume less energy as compared with the RFSN and PLUS schemes. |
